HORIZONS COLLECTIVE MICRO-COMMISSIONS

Horizons Collective are delighted to support four BESEA-led projects by artists in north west England, helping them to develop their projects and ultimately present their pieces in front of an audience.

The Horizons Collective micro-commissions are generously funded by Arts Council England.

We opened for applications for the four micro-commissions in early 2024, hoping to discover BESEA talent in the north west and we were delighted with the response we received. Together with a panel from the Horizons Collective network, we met every applicant to chat more informally about their projects - with the hope to eventually support every single one of their journeys.

The successful artists who have been awarded the four micro-commissions are: Nadia Anim, Pui-Ka Cheng, Edane Ng and Maria Luc, and Louiseanne Wong.

Nadia Anim, Edane Ng and Maria Luc, and Louiseanne Wong will present their projects on Wednesday 12 February at Lowry. Pui-Ka Cheng’s project DRIFT is ready for tour bookings from Autumn 2025.
