Moon Landing 奔月

By Jasmine Chong. Directed By Kash Arshad
Performed at Location 1 : Sweet Mandarin Restaurant

Moon Landing / 奔月, was inspired by a story Jasmine heard from her grandma, where a servant of her grandfather’s household said the Americans didn’t land on the Moon as Chang’e (嫦娥), the legendary goddess on the Moon is not there.

On the day following the 1969 Moon Landing, Ah Ping, an Ah mah who works for a British family in colonial Hong Kong, takes Daisy and William, on a one-of-a-kind adventure.
